5.4 Entering the Standby Mode
To enter the Standby mode:
1. In the main menu, tap Standby.
2. In the Standby confirmation menu, select Ye s .
When a TM80 enters the Standby mode:
Patient monitoring is suspended.
Alarm system is suspended.
Patient data is not displayed on the screen but “Standby” is displayed on the
screen.
The screen display automatically turns off after the device enters the Standby
mode for 30 seconds.
The Central Station is notified.
5.5 Exiting the Standby Mode
Press the key t to exit the standby mode.
After exiting the Standby mode, the system responds as follows:
Restores parameter measurement as previously configured.
Alarm system is activated.
Notifies the CMS of returning to normal monitoring.
NOTE
When Department and Bed No./Room No. are set to Unfixed, the depart-
ment name, room number, and bed number of the TM80 cannot be
changed at the CMS.
NOTE
After a TM80 is connected to the CMS, when it enters or exits Standby
mode, the CMS is also notified to enter or exit Standby mode. Refer to
BeneVision Central Monitoring System Operators Manual for details.
