3.7.6 Turning the Display Off
You can manually turn the display off, or let the display automatically turn off based on
the configured timeout.
■ Press the key to manually turn the display off.
■ If the touch screen is not touched for the configured Display Auto Off time, then
the screen will turn off after the configured Display Auto Off time has elapsed.
For details about configuring the time for Display Auto Off, refer to "Configuring the
General Menu" on page 12 - 2.
3.7.7 Turning the Display On
If the screen is off, press the or key to turn the display on.
3.7.8 Unlocking the Screen in Locked Mode
If you set the screen lock, you need to input the correct passcode to unlock the screen
after the display turns off.
1. If the screen is off, press the or key to turn the display on and access the
Screen Locked menu.
2. Input the passcode to unlock the screen.
Once the passcode is entered the screen is temporarily unlocked. If the is
pressed or the device times out, the screen will lock again and a passcode must be
entered.
NOTE
• While the display is off, the TM80 enters the power saving mode, and
does not provide audio and visual alarms.
• If the TM80 is not connected to the CMS, the “No Central Monitoring”
message will display in the prompt message area of the TM80. In this
case, the TM80’s display is automatically turned on and it will not
timeout. You cannot manually turn the display off.
CAUTION
• Do not let the display directly touch the patient when the display is on.
