Setting Up Personal Speed Dial
1. If yes:
- In 2111-09: Personal Speed Dial (page 734) enter Yes.
- In 2131-[01-64]: Line Access (page 763), make sure the extension has outgoing (2) or full (3)
access to the lines they want to use for Personal Speed Dial.
- To allow the extension user to use Line Groups for their Speed Dial numbers, check the assign-
ments in 3201-[01-64]: Line Group (page 833).
2. If no:
- In 2111-09: Personal Speed Dial (page 734) enter No.
1. Use 2151-Assignment (Personal Speed Dial Bin Assignment) (page 775) to assign Personal Speed Dial
numbers.
- In 2151-[01-20]: Personal Speed Dial Bin Type (page 775), enter the bin type:
- 0 for none
- 1 for Intercom
- 2 for line
- 3 for Line Group
- 4 for Extend (i.e., the second bin in a chained number)
- For type 2 (line) bins, in 2151-[01-20]: Personal Speed Dial Bin Line (page 775) enter the line
number (1-64).
- For type 3 (Line Group) bins, in 2151-[01-20]: Personal Speed Dial Bin Group (page 775) enter
the Line Group number (90-98).
- In 2151-[01-20]: Personal Speed Dial Bin Number (page 776), enter the Speed Dial number.

2151-[01-20]: Personal Speed Dial Bin Name (page 777)
, enter a name for the Speed Dial
number.
Setting Up System Speed Dial
1. In 2102-01: Class of Service (page 724), check the extension’s Class of Service level.
2. If yes:
- In 1401-01: System Speed Dial Access (page 628) enter Yes.
- In 2131-[01-64]: Line Access (page 763), make sure extensions has outgoing (2) or full (3) access
to the lines you want them to use for System Speed Dial.
- To allow Line Groups for use in System Speed Dial numbers, check the assignments in
3201-[01-64]: Line Group (page 833).
3. If no:
In 1401-01: System Speed Dial Access (page 628) enter No.
1. If yes, in 2102-04: User Programming Access Level (page 725), enter 4 or 5.
2. If no, in 2102-04: User Programming Access Level (page 725), enter 1-3.
