Cleaning vacuum system using cleaning adapter in the cuspidor.
Chemical suction hose cleaning option
If the treatment center is not equipped with the chemical suction hose
cleaning option, only water is used for cleaning the suction hoses. The
vacuum system therefore must be cleaned daily using the cleaning
adapter in the cuspidor bowl.
Request for regular cleaning
The vacuum system is subjected to septic secretions, saliva and blood
daily. Cleaning at regular intervals is therefore absolutely mandatory for
hygienic reasons.
Care and cleaning agents
Vacuum system, foaming cleaning agents
WARNING
The cleaning agent for the vacuum system could be mixed with the
disinfectant for the water lines.
➢ Do not fill DENTOSEPT P disinfectant into the cleaning agent tank
for chemical suction hose cleaning! Use an “Agent for suction paths”
which has been approved by Sirona, see "Care and cleaning
agents" [ → 170].
NOTICE
Approved care and cleaning agents
Use only care and cleaning agents which have been approved by Sirona
(see "Care and cleaning agents" [ → 170]).
NOTICE
Domestic cleaning agents foam up.
Foaming cleaning agents often cause foam and water to be sucked into
the dry suction system. This can cause damage to the suction machine.
➢ Use only care and cleaning agents which have been approved by
Sirona, see "Care and cleaning agents" [ → 170].
