Y To install the Smart Sipper
1. Open the sample compartment. See Opening and Closing the Sample and Reference
Compartment Doors.
2. Remove the sample compartment front panel. See Sample Compartment Front Panel.
3. Remove any existing cell holder or accessory.
4. Install the accessory. See Installing a Smart Accessory.
The software displays a prompt to initialize the accessory.

5. Click OK to initialize the accessory.
Initialization reads information about the accessory and reset the pump motors.
6. Install the Sipper sample compartment front panel.
Align the tab on the bottom edge with the slot in the instrument cover and press the
panel in place.
CAUTION Avoid pinch hazard. Keep hands and objects clear of the accessory during
initialization.
ATTENTION Évitez tout risque de pincement. Gardez vos mains, ainsi que tout objet,
à l’écart de l’accessoire pendant l’initialisation.
VORSICHT Quetschungen sind zu vermeiden. Hände und Objekte sind während der
Initialisierung vom Zubehör fern zu halten.
