9 Transfer the firmware file from your computer to the Zyxel Device. Type put followed by the path and
name of the firmware file. This examples uses put e:\ftproot\ZLD FW \1.01(XL.0)C0.db.

10 Wait for the file transfer to complete.

11 The console session displays “done” after the default system database is recovered.

12 The username prompt displays after the Zyxel Device starts up successfully. The default system database
recovery process is now complete and the Zyxel Device IDP and anti-virus features are ready to use
again.
