Configuration
Barcode Configuration is used to define the relationship of barcodes and how they are
grouped together for transmitting to the host. It also defines the formatting of no read,
multiple reads, partial reads and duplicate messages.
To edit the Barcode Configuration:
1. In the menu tree under Modify Settings, navigate to Global Settings | Barcode
Settings | Barcode Configuration. The Barcode Configuration window opens.
2. Enter the appropriate information in the form as described below:
Enter the minimum height of codes the system is expected to read. This parameter
defines the minimum height of the barcode the AV7000 will read.
The minimum height is 6 mm [.25 in].
Select Single Label, Standard Multi Label, Logical Combination, or Code
Collection from the drop-down list. The Code Combination parameter selects the
decoding mode for the barcode reader. Follow these links for each type of Code

ï‚· Single Label: In Single Label mode only one barcode can be read in each
reading phase; however it can be determined automatically from up to 10
enabled codes. The barcode reader stops decoding as soon as a code is read.
