on page 243 for additional information on using the
water trap.
The Infinity ID function for the Infinity ID
WaterLock 2 can be enabled and disabled by
DrägerService. The factory default is enabled.
Preparing Primus Infinity Empowered for
the self test
1 Fit the Y-piece (A) securely on to the circuit
plug.
2 Make sure the sample line (B) is connected to
the Y-piece and to the water trap.
3 Set the APL valve (C) to position Man and to
30 hPa (cmH
2O).

WARNING
Risk of patient injury
When using additional components in the
breathing system or configurations which de-
viate from the standard hose system, the in-
spiratory and expiratory breathing resist-
ances can be increased to values which
exceed the standard requirements.
If configurations of this kind are used, the
user must pay special attention to the meas-
ured values.
