STEPS FOR DOWNLOADING PARAMETERS TO C362DRV BOARD
1. Remove the slot cover (secured by 2 screws) located on Rear Cover.
NOTE: Make sure that the operation panel unit is attached.
2. Insert the Memory card for backup into the Memory card slot (CN20) mounted on
the C362DRV Board and turn on the printer.
NOTE: Install the Memory card surface toward outside of the printer.
3. Confirm that the following message is displayed in the LCD and press any button
on the operations panel within 15 seconds.
4. Downloading will begin.
5. When the backup is completed, the following message appears.
6. If the completion message of the work, turn the printer off and remove the
Memory card.
7. Attach the slot cover to the Rear Cover with 2 screws.
BACKUP/DOWNLOAD ERROR RECOVERY
The following message will be displayed if an error is generated during writing of data
to the memory card or C362DRV Board flash memory.
In this case, the following causes can be considered.
If error message appears, exchange the Memory card for other one and carry out again.
 Flash memory/ write error
 Flash memory/ erase error
 Memory card/ write error
 Memory card/ erase error
If this occurs, follow the steps below.
1. Exchange the memory card.
2. Replace the C362DRV Board. (Flash memory has failed.)
RANGE OF BACKED UP PARAMETERS
Backup parameters can be uploaded for the following C362DRV Main Board
addresses.
Flash ROM addresses 000~5FF<H> (except for 120~13F<H>)
Wait:F->M Push:M->F
Mcard -> Flash

If no operations panel button is pressed and approximately 15
seconds elapses from the time the message shown at Step 3 is
displayed, rather than downloading, the backup process will begin
(writing data from the C362DRV Board flash memory to the
memory card). Caution is needed.
