PF MOTOR LIFE MONITOR
How to calculate:
PF roller life and driven roller life are calculated with total paper feeding (Reference
value: 21km), because their lives are defined with paper feeding (positive direction/
negative direction).
When total paper feeding reaches the specified distance, printing is not stopped by
"Maintenance Req." or "Service Req." to prevent damage or fatal problems and
continuous printing is possible. However, work life of paper feeding parts is displayed
and when problems related to paper feeding such as feed length have occurred this is
considered the part life because corresponding part replacement through servicing will
not be possible.
HEAD UNIT LIFE MONITOR
How to calculate:
The numbers of dot injection for each color are added up, the number of injecting
assured dots per nozzle X 180 nozzles is calculated as the life, and it is calculated with
the most number of total dots in each colors.
(Reference value: 28 billion dots, drop fractions per 1000 shots)
When the printhead has been replaced, clear the counter by initializing head life in
Maintenance Mode 2.

It’s same as waste ink count.
