MAINTENANCE REQ. 0101
Problem
The CR motor reached the 3% remaining to the life. 
 Explanation
This message appears when counted CR motor movement cycles (pass number) 
reach 4% (about 4.8 million passes) of the set value (4.8 million passes). This 
shows that at this time the parts listed below are nearing their life. Printing is 
possible while this message is displayed, but when remaining quantity reaches 0% 
the message will change to a Service Call and printing will be stopped.
1. CR Motor
2. Steel Belt
3. Ink Tube
4. Head FFC
 Solution
1. Replace the CR motor
2. Replace the steel belt
3. Replace the Ink tube
4. Replace the Head FFC
5. Use Maintenance Mode 2 to execute "INIT. CR MTR."
MAINTENANCE REQ. 0102
Problem
Auto nozzle check error
 Explanation
This message appears when laser light cannot be received or cannot be recognized 
during dot missing detection occurring at power on or before printing of a page. 
Printing can be resumed by pressing the "Pause" button.
 Solution
1. Remove ink and dust from light receptor of dot missing detector.
2. Replace dot missing detector. (If Step 1 did not correct problem.)
3. Replace C362DRV Board. (If Step 2 did not correct problem.)
NOTE: After replacing the dot missing detector, be sure to perform the offset 
adjustment. (Refer to 5.3 "Inspection/Offset Adjustment)
MAINTENANCE REQ. 0103
Problem
Backup battery for RTC (real time clock) life expired.
 Explanation
The printer continually operates the timer (even when power is off) and a lithium 
battery is established to operate the timer circuit (when power is off). This 
message appears when the power of the battery falls below the required value or 
when there is no power, and the printer is stopped.
 Solution
1. Replace the lithium battery.
2. Initialize RTC and input date/time. (Refer to Chapter 1 "Maintenance Mode 
2")
3. Check the condition/existence of battery contacts. (If no recovery.)
4. Replace the C362DRV board.
NOTE: Be sure to initialize RTC and input date/time whenever the lithium 
battery has been removed from the circuit board.
