16.7.1 Replacing the system board
V CAUTION!
There are two variants of the system board:
– D3383-A
– D3383-C (only for 10x 2.5-inch HDDs)
Ê Ensure that you ordered the right system board.
For identification, see section "Connectors and indicators on the
system board" on page 415.
I The following description is valid for both system boards.
Field Replaceable Unit
(FRU)
Hardware: 40 minutes
Software: 20 minutes
Tools: Replacing the system board:
– Phillips PH2 / (+) No. 2 screw driver
– hexagon screw driver 5mm (for OCP bolts)
– Magnifying glass for inspecting CPU socket springs
(recommended)
Replacing the TPM:
– Bit screw driver
– flat nose pliers
– TPM bit insert

For Japan:
– Dedicated TPM screw driver (CWZ8291A)
– TPM module fixing tool (S26361-F3552-L909)
If an OCP module is installed:
– Phillips PH1 / (+) No. 1 screw driver
