This manual provides installation and service information for the Vivid S5 N and Vivid S6 N ultrasound
scanners, and contains the following chapters:
• Chapter 1 - Introduction
Contains a content summary and warnings.
• Chapter 2 - Site Preparations
Contains pre-installation requirements for the Vivid S5 N and Vivid S6 N ultrasound scanner.
• Chapter 3 - System Setup
Contains installation procedures and an installation checklist.
• Chapter 4 - Functional Checks
Contains functional checks that must be performed as part of the installation, or as required during
servicing and periodic maintenance.
• Chapter 5 - Components and Function (Theory)
