7-7-2-2 Enabling Extensive Logging
NOTE: In some cases, the user may need to activate the Extensive Logging feature. This will allow the
system to record logs in a more detailed format, specifically addressing an issue of suspected
failure.
As shown in Figure 7-96 "Extensive Logging Dialog" on page 7-136, checkboxes provided in
the Extensive Logging dialog enable the user to activate the appropriate failure category (any
one or more; any combination) to collect more information regarding particular functionality.
Table 7-5 "Extensive Log Categories and Failure Scenarios" on page 7-135 provides
recommendations for activating a specific Extensive Log category.
