PRELIMINARY
7-2-3 Accessing the Diagnostic Test Window
The diagnostic tools are accessed from 2D-Mode by simultaneously pressing <ALT+Config> on the
alphanumeric keyboard. The Diagnostic Test window is displayed, as shown below:

NOTE: For a summary of the various Diagnostic Test Menu options, together with details of the
information displayed in different areas of the screen, see Table 7-2 on page 7-4 and 7-2-4
"Diagnostic Test Window Menu Options" on page 7-11.
NOTE: When performing a specific test for an intermittent problem, it is highly recommended to use the
Loop option (use the combo box or type the required number of loops) as appropriate. Looping
the test will assist in detecting the problem.
NOTE: Once the test has been completed, a log can be viewed, as described in the 7-2-3-1 "View Log"
on page 7-5.
The Diagnostics Test Window (Figure 7-1 "Diagnostic Test Window" on page 7-3) comprises the
following areas and menu options:
