Malfunction
Solution
Display Settings
1. Make sure that the custom text size (DPI) on the
computer is set to 96dpi.
2. Make sure that your screen resolution is set according to
minimum computer requirements (refer to section 4.1).
Coolant Leakage
1. Dry up any excess coolant from the system (check also
inside the back doors and drawer)
2. Make sure the Thermode water connectors are properly
connected to the system. If one of the Thermodes is not
connected, connect a bypass water tube in place of the
missing Thermode water connectors.
3. Check the flow rate is correct and adjust slightly if it is
too high (see section 22.2.2 for more information on
how to check the flow rate)
4. Try to locate leakage origin.
If the problem persists, stop using the system and contact
Medoc service.
No TEC Response
1. Check that the PATHWAY is turned ON and
communication is established (see power failure and
communication problems above)
2. Check that the enabled Thermodes are properly
connected
3. Make sure the Emergency button on PATHWAY front
panel is not pressed in
4. Make sure the button on the Emergency extended cable
is not pressed
5. Restart PATHWAY and Medoc Main Station
6. Check that the TEC temperature displayed in the status
line is fluctuating slightly (± 0.1°C) and not fixed
7. Check that the TEC temperature displayed in the status
line changes slightly when carefully touching the
Thermode contact area.
8. Try to perform a Manual Calibration (refer to the Service
Manual for further information)
9. Replace the Thermode if available
If the problem persists, contact Medoc service.
Water Temperature Too
Hot
1. Check that the PATHWAY is turned ON and
communication is established (see power failure and
communication problems above)
2. Check that the Thermodes are properly connected
3. Check the water level and fill the Cooling Unit reservoir if
necessary (refer to section 19.2 for further instructions)
4. Make sure the coolant temperature in the Cooling Unit is
below 15°C. Press in the Emergency button and allow the
temperature to cool if needed.
If the problem persists, contact Medoc service.
