8.6.2 Import Patient Records
In order to import patient records follow the procedure below:
1. From the menu bar select File and then Import
2. Browse to the location of the saved patient records and select the file to import
3. Click on the Open button. The patient records will be added to the patient list.
8.6.3 Solving Conflicts When Importing Patient Records
Medoc Main Station identifies any possible conflicts between existing patient records and
imported patient records. In case of conflict (e.g. patients with same unique ID) it is possible
to manually select how to handle the import. The following options are available:
1. Use Local – keep the existing patient record and ignore the imported one
2. Use Import – overwrite the existing patient record with the imported one
3. Keep Both – edit the conflicting field in the imported patient record and keep both records.
The “keep both” option only becomes available if the conflict no longer exists.
