Table 44: Errors during calibration
The thermometer does not respond.
1. Check that the thermometer is
turned on.
2. Check that the thermometer is
connected to the correct COM (see
setting > software setting >
calibration COM port).
These errors indicate a problem with
thermometer communication.
1. Check that the thermometer is turned on
2. Check that the thermometer is connected
to right COM port (open settings >
software settings). Change the COM port
until connection with thermometer can be
established.
3. Restart the calibration
Cannot open thermometer serial
communication port, because it is
used by Medoc Main Station
Access denied to Thermometer serial
communication port 3.
Thermometer serial communication
port COM1 was not found
Have not been able to read
temperatures from the Thermometer
for 4 seconds.
1. Verify that the thermometer
communication cables are connected
properly.
2. Verify that the thermometer is
turned on.
3. Restart the automatic calibration
procedure.
The measured temperature 56(˚C) is
out of permitted range [18…55].
During automatic calibration the measured
temperature exceeded the allowed range.
1. Change the calibration range in the
Automatic calibration properties.
2. Repeat calibration.
If the Thermode temperatures still exceeds the
allowed limits, calibrate the Thermode
manually using a narrower calibration range
and repeat the automatic calibration using the
default range. Refer to the service manual for
further details.
Automatic calibration is terminated
when water temperature is above
30˚C.
Water temperature is 31.
The coolant temperature in the Thermode was
too high during calibration.
1. Make sure that the cooling unit is turned
ON
2. Press the emergency button and wait for
coolant temperature to decrease.
3. Restart the calibration
Temperatures are not the same as
the temperatures displayed on the
thermometer
