Programming Examples
1. In 3121-01: Caller ID Type (page 825) for each line enter the type of Caller ID required:
- (DSP = 1, ATRU-DB = 2, T1/E1 ANI = 3).
2. Set up the outbound route for Caller ID callbacks.
- In 3711-01: Caller ID Callback Route Type (page 856), select the type of route used for Caller ID
callbacks (1 = line, 2 = Line Group).
- For line, in 3711-01: Caller ID Callback Line (page 856) enter the line number (1-64) the system
will use for Caller ID callbacks.
- For Line Groups, in 3711-01: Caller ID Callback Group (page 857) enter the Line Group number
(90-98) the system will use for Caller ID callbacks.
3. In 3712-02: 10-Digit Local Calls (page 858), enter No.
4. In 3713-[01-16]: Home Area Code Table Data (page 860),enter 203.
- The system will add a leading 1 to all calls to all area codes other than 203.
- Calls to area code 203 will be redialed as 7-digit calls.

4. In 3713-[01-16]: Home Area Code Table Data (page 860),enter 203.
5. In 3714-[01-96]: Home Area Code Exception List Table Data (page 861):
- Configure the table as a local table (L).
- Enter the local exchanges within area code 203.
- Calls within area code 203 that are found in the list are redialed as 10-digit local calls. Calls within
area code 203 not found in the list are redialed as 1 + 10 digit toll calls.
6. In 3715-[01-96]: Foreign Area Code Exception List Table Data (page 862), enter the NPA + NXX com-
bination for area code 860 that is a local call. The call is redialed as a 10-digit local call.
