4. Close the base plate, lead the AC adapter cord out through the
hole, and snap the cover in place.
5. Install a ferrite core (provided with the APR-U Unit) by looping
line cord through the core between the terminal (one inch from
the terminal) and ESI(8)-U10 ETU. This core is only used with
the APR-U Unit.
6. Plug in the power cord on the AC adapter and the telephone
cord in the jack.

The APR-U Unit has two switches.
