3.11.2 External Battery Installation
Batteries that are purchased locally can be connected to the system
as external batteries.
3.11.2.1 Basic KSU
1. Connect cabling to the external batteries as shown
in Figure 5-30 Connecting Cables for External
Batteries in the Basic KSU.

When installing external batteries, disconnect the
battery cable for the built-in batteries from the
BATTERY INT connector of each KSU. When the
built-in batteries are connected with the external
batteries, a large charging current could flow from
the external batteries to the built-in batteries and
burn the battery cables.
