5.9.5 Alarm Conditions
A brief description of each alarm condition is given below.
J Alarm Indication Signal (AIS) Detection
On red when the system is receiving an Alarm Indication Signal
from an FT1 trunk.
J Controlled Slip Event Detection (SLIP)
On red when the timing difference between a synchronous
receiving terminal and the received signal exceeds the
buffering ability of the terminal.
J Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) Error Event Detection
On red when a CRC Error occurs.
