6-8 Orientation Function
Use this function to stop the motor at any point in one rotation. It is useful for applications such as tool
change on the main spindle of a machine tool.
To use this function, set the 1st Control Method (A044) to 05 (Sensor vector control) and the V2
Control Mode Selection (P012) to 00 (Speed control mode) or 01 (Pulse train position control mode).
As the reference signal for positioning, the function uses the phase-Z pulse signal (one rotation
position signal). Input a phase-Z pulse between the terminals EZP and EZN of the PG Board (Model:
3G3AX-PG01).
Set the Multi-function Input S1 to S8 Selection (C001 to C008) to 45 (ORT: Orientation).
