6-7-2 Operation Sequences
This function is enabled when the 1st Control Method (A044) is set to 05 (Sensor vector control) to
set the motor shaft in a speed servo lock state.
Set the Multi-function Input S1 to S8 Selection (C001 to C008) to 54 (SON: Servo ON).
Once the SON function is allocated, the inverter does not accept the RUN command unless the SON
terminal turns ON.
If the SON terminal turns OFF during operation, the inverter will fall in a free-run state. In this case,
turning ON the SON terminal again causes the inverter to restart according to the Free-run Stop
Selection (b088) setting.
Do not set the Multi-function Input S1 to S8 Selection (C001 to C008) to 55 (FOC: Preliminary
excitation).
