Laser Beam Pitch Adjustment
1. Print out the test pattern with
SP5-955-1, then select pattern
15 (☛ 5.1.3).
2. Check if vertical black stripes
can be seen.
a) If stripes cannot be seen
(Figure 2), laser beam
pitch adjustment is not
required.
b) If stripes can be seen
(Figure 1), laser beam
pitch adjustment is
required. Go on to the
next step.
3. To adjust the laser beam pitch,
tighten or loosen the screw [A]
on the LD unit holder.
4. Print out the test pattern with
SP5-955-1.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 until
the black stripes disappear
(Figure 2).
