Character Fill
The Character Fill test pattern selection prints a sliding alphanumeric character
test in Courier font across the current form width and height, using the lines per
inch and characters per inch settings for the printer. This selection lets you
evaluate print quality and verify the operation of the printer’s PostScript
®
Font
Scaler.
Note: The Character Fill test pattern can not be printed when a print job is in
progress.
1. Press the Up or Down triangle on the Test Prints menu to move the selection
bar to the Character Fill function.
2. Press Enter, which causes the following screen to display while the Character
Fill test pattern is printing:

3. To terminate printing, press Clear, which causes a Cancelling Test Print
message to display.
4. When printing is terminated, the system returns to the Supervisor Menu.
5. Press Feed until the printed form completely ejects from the printer.
