Operating Conditions
To ensure the safe operation of, and peak performance by, the printer, you must
observe the following:
Do not install the printer:
- Near curtains or other objects that catch fire and easily burn.
- Where there is a possibility of its being splashed with any liquids.
- In the direct air stream from an air conditioner, heater and/or ventilator.
- Where organic gas such as ammonia is generated.
- Adjacent to heat-generating equipment.
The printer should be installed:
- In an area free from direct sunlight.
- In a well-ventilated place.
- In a dry place.
- In a dust-free location.
- In an area not subject to undue vibration.
- In a stable and level place.
