Symbol Set
The Symbol Set determines the Character Set used by the Printer Character data
in the print stream.
Executing the Font Detail option included as part of the Test Prints function will
provide a graphic copy of the complete Character Set for the font printed. (See
page 6-23.)
Note: The Symbol Set setting can not be changed when a print job is in progress.
1. Press the Up or Down triangle on the Printer Setup menu to move the
selection bar to the Symbol Set function.
2. Press Enter, which causes the following Symbol Set screen to display:

Note:
• Brackets ( [ ] ) around a specific Symbol Set indicate that it is the Default
Configuration Symbol Set.
• An arrow () pointing to a specific Symbol Set indicates that it is the Symbol
Set assigned to the currently displayed configuration.
