Introduction
This appendix explains how to install the operating software for the LP 100R.
The following procedures are defined in this appendix:
Installing a full factory-defined METO-Logic operating system from a USB Flash
Drive.
Installing a System Program upgrade from a USB Flash Drive, which updates
the operating system and necessary supporting files without changing user-
defined settings such as Configurations and Communications parameters.
Note: The above functions should be executed only when the printer is in the
Offline Idle mode, and no print jobs are active.
Copying the Operating System
If it is necessary to copy the operating system, see the Copy functions included in
Appendix B: Managing Files.
