Cancel Job On Field Error Function
The Cancel Job On Field Error function defines the corrective options available in
the event a field error is detected during processing.
Cancel Job On Field Error Function Access
Note: Cancel Job On Field Error settings can not be changed when a print job is in
progress.
1. Press the Up or Down triangle when the Supervisor Menu displays to move
the selection bar to the Cancel Job On Field Error function.
2. Press Enter, which will cause the following Cancel Job On Field Error menu to
display:

3. The functions which can be selected from the Cancel Job On Field Error menu
include:
Disabled – If the Disabled function is selected, the errors will be printed,
and the balance of the current job will be printed, followed by the next job
in the print queue.
Enabled – If the Enabled function is selected, no errors are printed, the
balance of the current job is canceled, and the next job in the print queue
will start to print.
Prompt – Allows you to selectively determine, on a job-by-job basis,
whether to cancel the balance of the job or print the balance of the job
when the field error is detected.
Disabled/Enabled (Cancel Job On Field Error)
This causes the balance of the job to be printed (if Disabled is selected) or
canceled (if Enabled is selected) when the field error has been cleared.
