12. If the Install function is to be aborted, press Back, which causes the system to
return to the Files menu without executing the Install function.
13. If the Install function is not to be aborted:
a. Open the front door on the printer.
b. Insert the flash drive into the USB port on the front of the controller.
c. Close the front door on the printer.
14. Press Enter to start the Install function.
15. When the Install function is complete, the system returns to the Files menu.
16. Open the front door on the printer.
17. Remove the flash drive from the appropriate USB port on the controller.
18. Close the front door on the printer.
19. Power down the printer by pressing the Off button.
Note: If power to the printer is not turned off, the new software will not be
recognized and will not replace the old software.
20. Store the flash drive in a safe place.
