24.1.1 Specifying a pre-configured IP address
You must assign a pre-configured IP address to a standalone FN2012-A1 as part
of its commissioning process.
1. Use the rotary switch on the FN2012-A1 to select an IP address in accordance
with the table further below.
2. Wait 10 s or reset the FN2012-A1 using the RESET button in order to apply the
set IP address.
If the rotary switch of the FN2012
A1 is in position 'E', the local ports are not
available. You cannot perform a firmware update or call up a web interface for the
FN2012-A1 when the switch is in position 'E'.
Rotary switch for device configuration
An Ethernet switch that is not integrated in a station must be configured via the
rotary switch. If the Ethernet switch is integrated, the rotary switch must be set to
'0'.
Using the rotary switch for device configuration, the Ethernet switch can be set to
pre-defined network addresses or operation modes.
To apply a new configuration, the setting must be made when the device is de-
energized or by means of a hardware reset.
