21.12 Freezing outputs
You can freeze outputs with connected fire dampers to prevent them from being
activated if the 'Station' or line is restarted or in the event of a module reset. A
restart is required if a modified configuration is loaded to the 'Station'.
Duration of freeze
The output freeze lasts until the next restart or module reset. It is deactivated after
the restart or module reset. See chapter 'Enabling frozen outputs [ 84]' for how
to manually deactivate freezing.
ϖ All line devices are switched on.
ϖ Input/output modules with connected fire dampers are present on the line.
ϖ The output freeze is activated / configured in the 'Site' configuration. See
document 009078.
1. At the 'Station', select the 'Station', a module, or a line in the hardware tree.
2. Select 'Execute Commands' > 'Freeze selected outputs ON'.
3. The 'Output positions frozen' message is displayed for the frozen outputs.
You can now restart the 'Station' or the line or perform a module reset.
21.13 Enabling frozen outputs
ϖ One or more outputs have been frozen / the 'Output positions frozen' message
is displayed for one or more outputs.
ϖ All line devices are switched on.
1. At the 'Station', in the hardware tree select the 'Station', the module, or the line
that has been frozen or select the 'Output positions frozen' message for the
corresponding element.
2. Select 'Execute Commands' > 'Freeze selected outputs OFF'.
