18.6 Replacing stationary devices of the same type
To replace stationary devices of the same type on the AnalogPLUS detector line,
follow the steps below:
ϖ You have already commissioned the AnalogPLUS detector line.
ϖ The line is in normal operation.
ϖ The presence of detector fault messages is permissible.
1. Switch the detector line off. Link [ 82]
2. Replace the device. Link [ 68]
3. Switch the detector line on. Link [ 83]
18.7 Converting a stub or loop
The following conversion options are available for the AnalogPLUS detector line:

Converting a loop into a stub
To convert an AnalogPLUS detector line, follow the steps below:
1. Switch the detector lines off. Link [ 82]
2. Rewire the detector line.
You will find more information on the topology of AnalogPLUS detector
lines in document 008843. See chapter 'Applicable documents'.
3. Load the configuration from the 'Station' to the PC. Link [ 32]
4. Change the configuration of the AnalogPLUS detector line in 'SintesoWorks' in
accordance with the new wiring.
You will find more information on how to configure the topology for
AnalogPLUS detector lines in document 009078. See chapter 'Applicable
documents'.
5. Load the modified configuration from the PC to the 'Station'. Link [ 30]
6. Switch the detector line on. Link [ 83]
7. Test the function of the 'Site'. Link [ 91]
18.8 Querying the number of devices on the detector line
Query the number of devices that are accessible on the forward and backward
connection of the detector line to identify any wire breaks in a loop.
1. In the main menu, select 'Topology' > 'Hardware tree' > 'Station' > Line card
> Detector line.
2. Press the 'More Options' softkey and select 'Execute commands'.
3. Select the 'No. of devices forward/backward' command.
The number of devices on the forward and backward connection of the detector
line is displayed.
