29.3.2 Router station and Ethernet station
You can update the additional CPUs in a networked ↑ 'Station' via FCnet/LAN. In
this way, you can update networked 'Stations' without disconnecting the network
connection and restoring the factory setting.
You will find additional information about the individual steps on the specified
pages.
ϖ Familiarize yourself with the information in 'Preparation and security [➙ 117]'.
ϖ A ↑ GAP with DHCP is configured for the connection with the PC via
FCnet/LAN.
1. Load the configuration from the ↑ 'Station' or your archive to the PC.

2. Connect the PC to the FCnet/LAN via the Ethernet switch (MM) FN2008-A1.
3. Enable the 'Station'.
– Press <MENU> and enter a valid PIN.
4. Update the firmware of the additional CPUs if there is a higher firmware version
status. Select the connection via GAP and enter the address of the 'Station'

5. Load the configuration from the PC to the 'Station'. Link [➙ 30]
6. Disconnect the PC from FCnet/LAN.
