station
NOTICE
Configuring IP addresses manually
Once a standalone 'Station' has been converted to a networked 'Station', you
have to configure the IP address manually.
ϖ The configuration for an 'Site' with a standalone 'Station' is loaded to
SintesoWorks.
1. Select the 'Network' task card.
2. Open 'Global system configuration' > 'FS20 network configuration' > 'Ethernet
sub-net' in the tree view.
3. Select 'Connections' to configure an Ethernet network.
Alternative for SAFEDLINK network: Select 'Ethernet sub-net'.
Select 'New element'.
Add the 'SAFEDLINK sub-net' element.
Open 'SAFEDLINK sub-net'.
Select 'Connections'.
4. In the menu bar, click on 'Assign'.
The 'Assign dialog' window opens.
5. Select the 'Network tree' on the right of the 'Station' and click on 'Assign'.
The standalone 'Station' is now a networked 'Station'.
6. Select the 'Station' under 'Connections'.
7. Configure the IP address on the 'Overview' tab.
You have converted the standalone 'Station' to a networked 'Station'.
