4. Press and hold down the '▲', '▼', and '√' buttons on the line tester and click on
the 'Next' button in the Engineering Tool at the same time.
5. Only release the '√' button.
 The device is set to update mode.
6. Release the '▲' and '▼' buttons.
7. Follow the instructions in the dialog in the Engineering Tool and perform the
update.
 The line tester restarts.
8. Remove the MCL-USB adapter.
 The firmware is updated.

29.9.1 Standalone FN2012-A1
'SintesoWorks' assumes the function of the TFTP server from which the FN2012-
A1 obtains the firmware. The FN2012-A1 must be connected to a sub-net
containing at least one station that can provide the PC with the DHCP.
You can perform the firmware update for the FN2012-A1 in two ways:
● Updating the firmware in the web interface
or
● Updating the firmware with the RESET button on the device
The web interface is not available while the firmware update is active.
