Updating the firmware in the web interface
ϖ The FN2012-A1 has a valid IP address within the sub-net.
ϖ The PC has access to the FN2012-A1 / is located within the same sub-net as
the FN2012-A1.
ϖ The FN2012-A1 is connected to a sub-net containing at least one station.
ϖ The web interface has been commissioned and the initial password changed.

ϖ SintesoWorks is switched on.
ϖ 'SintesoWorks' is connected to the sub-net.
ϖ The FN2012-A1 is not in repeater mode (rotary switch position 'E').
1. Start the firmware update in SintesoWorks:
– Select the 'Update' > 'FW update main CPU' menu item.
– Select the required firmware version in the 'Update package:' field.
– Select 'Initiate update at station'.
2. Open the web interface of the FN2012-A1.
3. Select the 'FW update' tab.
4. Enter the address of 'SintesoWorks'. You will find recommendations for
standard configurations in the table 'Recommended standard IP addresses for
tool' below.
5. Click on 'Start FW update'.
 The FN2012-A1 connects to 'SintesoWorks'.
 The firmware of the FN2012-A1 is updated.
 The FAULT LED on the FN2012-A1 shows the status of the firmware update.
