16.3.1 'Line Fault' error message
If the error message 'Line fault' is displayed for collective detector lines once the
'Station' has started, the cause may be a change in line resistance.
Greater resistance, e.g. due to corrosion of the base connections or faulty end-
of-line element
Less resistance e.g. due to a defective 'Detector' or a faulty end-of-line element

16.4.1 Checking the collective detector line
When testing collective detector lines on the line card (collective) FCL2002, you
must observe the following points:
Detectors must not be triggered too soon after each other.
The total time required to check a collective detector is 50 s.
Once a detector has been triggered, the internal alarm indicator flashes for
15 s and the line is automatically reset.
The length of time after which the line is ready for the next detector to be
triggered varies depending on the line type.
Type Total time required
Transzorb 45 s
EOL22Ex 40 s
EOL 4k7 50 s
EOl 3k3 50 s
