29.2.3 Modular station with CPU card
You will find additional information about the individual steps on the specified
pages.
ϖ You are familiar with the information in chapter 'Preparation and security
[➙ 117]'.
ϖ A ↑ GAP with DHCP is configured for the connection with the PC via
FCnet/LAN.
1. Import the new firmware into SintesoWorks.
– Select the 'File' > 'Import new resource package' menu item and open the
file you want.
2. Load the configuration from the ↑ 'Station' or your archive to the PC.

3. NOTICE! Data loss. Save the configuration data before updating the firmware.
– Saving the configuration data also backs up specific system data which is
only available on the 'Station'. This includes modified customer texts, time
stamps of recent alarms, or persistent commands.
4. Convert the configuration if necessary and rectify conversion faults.

5. Connect the PC to the communication card (FC2080) FCC2005.
6. Update the firmware on the ↑ CPU cards and the additional CPUs.

8. Test the firmware version on the additional CPUs. Link [➙ 137]
– Update the firmware, if required, of the additional CPUs again, if there is a

9. Load the configuration from the 'Station' to the PC. Link [➙ 32]
10. Disconnect the PC from the communication card.
