↑ CPU card
1. Briefly press the 'S8' button on the CPU card until a 'R' is displayed on the LED
matrix display.
2. As soon as the 'R' is displayed, press and hold the 'S8' button for approx. 2 s to
confirm the selection.
A checkmark on the LED matrix display confirms the selection.
The CPU card is restarted.

31.10 Restoring factory setting on the station
There are the following ways in which to restore the factory setting on the
↑ 'Station':
● Via the menu on the display
● PMI & mainboard FCM2004 and FCM2027: With the 'S32' button
● ↑ CPU card: With the 'S8' button
Via the menu on the display
1. Press <MENU>.
You are prompted to enter a PIN.
2. Enter a valid PIN and confirm with <ok>.
The 'User successfully logged in' message is displayed.
The main menu is displayed.
3. Select the 'Topology' > 'Hardware tree' > 'Station' menu items.
4. Press the 'MoreOptions' softkey and select 'Execute commands'.
5. NOTICE! Configuration will be deleted! Save the configuration data for the
↑ 'Station' before restoring the factory setting.
6. WARNING! It is impossible to acquire and process alarms or faults without a
site configuration! Select the 'Factory reset' command.
The 'Station' restarts.
7. Enter the date and time. To do this, select the 'Settings/administration' >
'System commands' > 'Set system time' menu items.
