21.3 'One-step commissioning'
'OSC' mode (one-step commissioning) enables peripheral devices to be assigned
and tested in a single step. The following additional components are required:
● Detector exchanger and tester FDUD292 with firmware version >=3.2.2
● Bluetooth extension kit FDUD29x-E
● 'Sinteso Test' app with software version >=2.0.0
● Mobile terminal, e.g., smartphone

● Configure your smartphone or mobile terminal according to the guidelines of
Siemens CERT Security Measure Plan for
Guidelines of the Siemens CERT Security Measure Plan for Android
Devices
● The internal Android encryption function must be activated on your smartphone
or mobile terminal.
● The following requirements must be met with regard to the encryption
password used:
– At least eight characters
– At least one upper-case letter
– At least one lower-case letter
– At least one special character or numeral
● Configure the data storage space for your apps so that app data can only be
placed inside the encrypted internal memory of the device or on encrypted
memory cards.
– Check whether the memory cards inside your device can be encrypted.

You can only assign manual and automatic channels of the type 'Sensor' with
'Sinteso Test'. Thermal/CO sensors of multi-criteria fire detectors and the
automatic channels of FDA221 and FDA241 cannot be assigned with 'Sinteso
Test'.
Executing the 'Enable one-step commissioning' command
ϖ OSC mode is to be activated for a particular element, e.g., for the 'Station'.
κ Start by activating the MC link with the 'Enable MC link' command and then
activate OSC mode using the 'Enable one-step commissioning' command.
