Updating the firmware
Check the COM port setting under '
before performing the firmware update.
1. Select 'Update' > 'Periphery update wizard'.
2. In the 'Password check' window, enter the password '1234' and click on the
'Next' button.
3. Select the 'Standard FDnet device' element in the 'Devices:' field.
The connection with the floor repeater terminal is established.
The latest firmware package and the latest firmware version are suggested.
4. Click on 'Next'.
5. Follow the instructions in the dialog and perform the update.
The floor repeater terminal restarts.
6. Remove the MCL-USB adapter and lock the device.
The firmware is updated.
Manually setting device to update mode
Proceed as follows if you are prompted to manually set the device to update mode
in step 3:
1. Keep the 'More alarms' (1) and 'Reset' (2) buttons pressed at the same time
and disconnect the FDnet plug (X1) from the printed circuit board.
2. Wait at least ten seconds and re-insert the FDnet plug (X1).
The device is set to update mode.
