5.2 Performing Cursor Measurements and Area
Calculations
This section explains the following settings (which are used when performing cursor measurements on
and determining the area of the displayed XY waveform).
• Measurement mode
• Cursor measurement
• Area determination method

X-Y Measure Setup Menu
Press SHIFT+DISPLAY (X-Y), the Measure Setup soft key, and then the Mode soft key to display the
following menu.
When the Measurement
Mode Is OFF
Measure with cursors.
Disables measurement
Determine the area.
Measurement Mode Settings
Performing Cursor Measurements (Cursor)
Press the Cursor soft key to display the following menu.
Set the horizontal cursor
(using the jog shuttle).
Set the vertical cursor
(using the jog shuttle).
Set the measurement mode (Cursor).
Set measurement items.
Select the measurement items that you want
to use.
