2.17 Triggering on SPI Bus Signals (Option)
This section explains the following settings (which are used when triggering on SPI bus signals).
• Wiring system (Mode)
• Clock source, data source, chip select source
Polarity, active state, and the level used to detect source states
• Trigger condition

Auto Setup
The DLM4000 can automatically set the source level from the received SPI bus signal and trigger on
it. For details, see section 12.10.
ENHANCED SPI Menu
Press ENHANCED and then the Type soft key. From the setup menu that appears, select SPI to
display the following menu.
When Wiring System Is 3 Wire When Wiring System Is 4 Wire
Set the wiring system (3 Wire).
Set the clock source.
Set the Data1 source.
Set the trigger conditions.
Set the chip select source.
Set the trigger type to SPI.
Set the clock source.
Set the Data1 source.
Set the trigger conditions.
Set the chip select source.
Set the trigger type to SPI.
Set the wiring system (4 Wire).
Set the Data2 source.
