When you access the CLI using the web console, your computer establishes a SSH (Secure SHell)
connection to the Zyxel Device. Follow the steps below to access the web console.
1 Log into the web configurator.
2 Click the Console icon in the top-right corner of the web configurator screen.
3 If the Java plug-in is already installed, skip to step 4.
Otherwise, you will be prompted to install the Java plug-in. If the prompt does not display and the
screen remains gray, you have to download the setup program.
4 The web console starts. This might take a few seconds. One or more security screens may display. Click
Yes or Always.

Finally, the User Name screen appears.

5 Enter the user name you want to use to log in to the console. The console begins to connect to the Zyxel
Device.
Note: The default login username is admin. It is case-sensitive.
