12. Insert the button of the Secondary Gap Adjuster into the end of the shroud as
shown in Figure 3-20. Refer to Figure 3-18 for identification of the button.

13. If the ohmmeter shows an open condition, go to 14. If the ohmmeter is showing
zero resistance, turn the shroud until the ohmmeter shows an open condition.
14. Turn the shroud back and forth until you find the point where the Switch just
makes contact. At this point the ohmmeter should show zero resistance. Hold
the shroud in this position and at the same time, using a 9/16-inch open-end
wrench tighten the nut.
15. If you removed the Switch, reinstall it using a T-10 Torx driver and the two
screws removed in 8
16. Using a T-10 Torx driver, loosen the two screws on the Plunger, refer to Figure
3-19.
17. Insert the lower slot of the Secondary Gap Adjuster between the Switch and the
Plunger. To do this, push up on the Outer Barrier and insert the Secondary Gap
Adjuster between the Switch and the Plunger. The open end of the Secondary
Gap Adjuster fits around the Plunger. Allow the Outer Barrier to close.
