(3) Calibration method
[Procedure]
1. Warm up the reference oscillator by setting the MT8820A to the standby
status for 24 hours.
2. After 24 hours, turn MT8820A On.
3. Input the standard frequency to the external reference input of the frequen-
cy counter.
4. Set MT8820A to the reference oscillator frequency calibration mode with
GPIB control.
5. Set MT8820A as in the following table

6. Adjust the trimmer for calibration (Freq Adjust on theMT8820A rear
panel) so that frequency counter indicates the value 1000.000000
MHz±10Hz.
