D. CRANKSHAFT
► FLYWHEEL
1. Install the stopper to the fl ywheel and loosen the bolt.
2. Remove the fl ywheel stopper and fl ywheel.
<When reassembling>
• Clean the end of the crankshaft and the mating surface
of the fl ywheel.
• Apply oil on the fl ywheel bolt.
• Align the flywheel holes. And tighten the bolts to the
specifi ed torque.
• Use longer bolts to carry the fl ywheel if necessary.
CAUTION
► BEARING CASE COVER
1. Loosen the bolt on the inside and then the bolt on the
outside. Lift both sides of the cover with a screwdriver.
<When reassembling>
• Apply grease to the oil seal lip. Be careful not to scratch
the seal when installing it.
► CRANKSHAFT
1. Remove the main bearing case bolt 2.
2. Pull out the crankshaft. Be careful not to damage the
crankshaft bearing 1.
<When reassembling>
• Apply oil to the bearing case bolt 2.
• Clean the crankshaft's oil passage with compressed air.
Tightening torque
98.1 ~ 107.9 Nm
10.0 ~ 11.0 kgf-m
72.3 ~ 79.6 lb-ft
Tightening torque
23.5 ~ 27.5 Nm
2.4 ~ 2.8 kgf-m
17.4 ~ 20.3 lb-ft
Tightening torque
68.6 ~ 73.6 Nm
7.0 ~ 7.5 kgf-m
50.6 ~ 54.3 lb-ft
