• Check the surface temperature of the container before
draining the engine oil, transmission fl uid, coolant, etc.
If it is hot, let it cool down before draining it. There is
danger of burning.
• Perform any service on the engine parts (muffl er, ex-
haust manifold, turbocharger, etc.) only when they are
not hot.
• Do not open the radiator cap when the radiator is hot.
Hot coolant or steam can be surged leading to a seri-
ous scald.

• Observe all relevant environmental protection regula-
tions when disposing used oil, transmission fl uid, cool-
ant, oil fi lter, etc. Otherwise, they can pollute the envi-
ronment seriously and you can be charged in violation
of regulations.
